    Hi All,

I need a night in PDX on a mileage run at the end of next month. I've never been, so i'm looking for a Kimpton that's easily accessible to PDX if at all possible.

    Any ideas?

PDX is a ways from town, so by one metric, all of them really are about equally convenient, as the light rail comes into town (about 45 minutes), and you can walk, cab, streetcar or bus it the rest of the way if need be.

We'll be in Portland, all at Kimptons, October 30,31 and November 1. Would you like, maybe, to meet at the wine hour, or meet for coffee?
    <edit> darn---next month, not this month...oh, well

The Monaco is one of my favorite hotels, period. I rarely get to stay there since I live in PDX now but when I moved last month, it gave me the perfect excuse to stay there while my house was a disaster. Still looooooove it. I haven't tried Riverplace yet but see it often from the outside. Monaco and Vintage are really close to each other and easily walkable from the Max.

    Thanks,

I ended up booking a night at the Vintage!
