continental.com website bug

    When attempting to request a BF upgrade with miles, I kept getting an error saying I needed to call continental. There were a few things at play that I thought might be causing the problem:
    1. mixed CO/LH itinerary - the LH portion is not upgradeable in theory (not a big deal because it's intra-Europe so just a coach seat with a tray blocking the middle seat)
    2. CO portion was waitlisted (even though plenty of seats still for sale; had not released the inventory yet)
    3. wanted to use a different FF account for the miles
    I think the 3rd point is the one that was blocking me. When you put in the other FF account and PIN, then press "validate", the site confirms there are miles available, but I think it logs me out of the website at the same time.

    I am IE 9.0 currently.
