    While I was waiting...

Continental Airlines and United Airlines, two of the world's premier airlines, are in the process of merging. Right now it's business as usual for you but you will begin to see changes as we work to create the world's leading airline. We are still operating as two separate carriers and you can expect to contact us as you always have. Your miles and frequent flyer program status are unaffected. However, you now have options to transfer miles between your OnePass and MileagePlus accounts as well as match your status between programs. Please go to continental.com for more information. United and Continental, your network just got better.

Continental Airlines is proud to be a member of the Star Alliance. As a member of the world's largest global airline alliance, our customers have even more travel options around the world. OnePass members earn and redeem miles on all Star Alliance member airlines. Elite members are recognized with added benefits. Plus, with more than 950 locations, the Star Alliance lounge network makes global travel even more convenient. For more information, go to continental.com/staralliance.

Your OnePass miles aren't just for travel anymore. Use your miles to bid on exciting merchandise and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, like tickets to sporting events, vip access to performing arts shows, and more. Just log on to continental.com and go to the OnePass Online Auction. Then start using your miles for things you've only dreamed of.

Earn up to 40,000 bonus miles with the OnePass Plus card. As a special offer, the annual fee is waived for the first year. That's a $95 value. With the OnePass Plus card your first checked bag is free. And you may be eligible for priority boarding privileges and two United Club passes every year. In addition, you'll earn 2 miles for every dollar spent on tickets purchased on Continental or United and one mile per dollar spent everywhere else. To apply, call 866-674-5533.

BusinessFirst, an elevated travel experience. BusinessFirst offers the comfort and luxury of international first class service plus exceptional value. On board, you'll enjoy personalized attention throughout your flight. Savor an extensive gourmet menu with premium wines and champagne created by Continental's congress of chefs and sommeliers and relax with our audio video on-demand entertainment system.

Get ready to experience even more comfort and space with the newest edition to our renowned BusinessFirst service. We've installed flat bed seats in the BusinessFirst cabins of all Continental 777-200s and 757-200 aircraft with installation in the rest of our wide-body fleet to follow. For more details, information, and a virtual demonstration, go to continental.com/flatbed.

The TSA's secure flight program now requires traveler's name, birthdate, and gender as it appears on the government issued ID provided at the time you travel. Please have this information available when you're ready to make your reservation. If you booked your reservation through another source, you can still go to continental.com to update your personal information or find out more about the secure flight program.

Know the great thing about checking in online? No lines! Go to continental.com anytime within 24 hours of your flight to choose your seat and print your boarding pass. Then when you get to the airport just go straight to security. It's that easy! So go ahead, get out of line and check in online at continental.com. 2-hour wait after many 'hang up and call back' calls throughout the evening. I've got all the intonations and pauses memorized too.

Thanks for posting this! I am deaf so I never get to hear the hold messages... Probably a blessing of some sort :p

Baloney... No pajamas, no duvets, much more crowded cabins, less privacy, barebone lounges, cheap swill, seats not as plush or comfortable, etc... IMO, borderline untruthful on CO's part...
