I am flying CO/UA from BUF to EWR. From what I've researched, I will arrive at Terminal C. I am then connecting onto a CO/UA flight in Terminal A. Do I have to clear security again? I've flown into EWR several times, but have never had to connect domestically, let alone change terminals. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can catch a shuttle bus from Terminal C to A2. If your connecting flight is from A1, then you can switch buses at A2.

You will not need to re-clear security.

On a related question I will be connecting in EWR over Labour day and UAL just changed my flights to make it almost a 3 hour layover I am a AA Admirals Club member so I hope to spend my time in the AC.
I understand AA uses terminal A and it appears my UAL flights will be from C I assume from the answer above I will not have to re-clear security..not being sure if A1 and A2 is the same.. since its been years since i been through EWR

Also how long would it by the shuttle bus??
