A question for the more knowledgeable members here: My next companion ticket will show up this month and I realize this one will be for coach fares only. However, is it still possible to call in for a mileage upgrade to F (if it is a flight that shows the red "U" for upgrade availability at the time of booking) once it is booked as a coach "value" or "full flex" fare?

Yes, per the terms of the new "coach" only codes - upgrades are still allowed. It says "Mileage plan accural permitted and upgrades allowed". However, you'd be spending 60K to upgrade 2 people round trip on a transcon or to HI which seems like a lot of miles for a digiplayer and maitai :) I imagine you could use guest upgrades on this as well.
