    Thanks William.
    This looks interesting.
    Especially for the Sheraton brand.

Its good that SPG announces this so early. So when can plan... Since the current SPG promo ends April 30th and the new one starts May 9th my stays will go to Hyatt which has a great promo till June 30th. SPG has been doing this for years. Always leave a long gap between promos. It is good for us that collect in several programs.

How long was the gap between the current Hyatt promo and the prior one?

A whole heck of a lot more than 9 days.

I wish they had included some cumulative bonuses for those of us who stay a lot but not necessarily two days all the time. But, given where occupancy and ADR sit and the fact that we're rolling into summer travel, I wouldn't expect much more.

Christmas/new year gap is normally a lot longer, Often like a month or so

Good point, but I think you know... ;~) my point is the benefit of having status in a number of hotel program's. That way the program's serve me and not I the program.

Yup. I enjoy being a free agent. Tonight I'll be staying at a Hyatt.

Why do I only find out these promos here - no email from spg, nothing when I sign in to the site?
