I am very pleased with the CO PP MC at this point, -- esp. the ability to earn the flex EQMs! I'm curious as to what will happen to this & other unique features (like the 25% elite bonus)!

I agree with you. I'm pleased with my PP MCard also. While I prefer a different card when outside of the US, I have moved my spending to the PP MCard for US purchases. The Flex EQMs, PClub access, and baggage fee waivers are just a few of the things that made this card especially worthwhile for me last year as I was beginning to do some travel again (without status). The extra mileage bonus was a nice add that gets more valuable the more you fly, of course.
I also took advantage of the travel insurance included with the card. Unfortunately, it is limited on electronic equipment, but at least the insurance is there. I left a brand new Kindle and case on a plane. Most credit card insurance programs don't cover carry on baggage at all so it was an unexpected surprise when I found out this one did -- even though I didn't buy the Kindle/case on the card -- only my airline ticket.

I'm also expecting to take advantage of the 2-for-1 Business First benefit later this year. Contrary to what some have posted elsewhere, I had no problem finding availability in the required fare classes at rates that made this a good deal for me.

Depending on what benefits remain, I will strongly consider continuing the card when my annual fee comes due.

I, t[IMG][IMG], really like this card. I certainly expect it to continue in some very similar form after the merger. Chase continues to put a lot of marketing muscle behind it.

  6. I tool really like this card especially after finding out earlier today that this card will reimburse me upto $300 per ticket if I am stranded overnight and need a hotel room and food.

While I am still a little unsure howto invoke this beneift, I am pleased with by another feature of this card.

Now if they could just waive forex fees, I would really like this card.

I see more people getting this card as the co debit cards no longer offer free bag.

At $300 or $400 a year for this card, I don't see the free bag being the deciding fact;)r ... the regular CO Chase card is $85/year. I suspect most people looking for the waived bag fee will go for that one.

I believe that has already been announced, hence this is why Chase decided to waive Fx fees for the PP MC!
