Does anyone know what aircraft type CO used in the fall of 1993 on the FRA-EWR route? And what was the flight number? Trying to fill a gap in my flight history book.

It was a 747-200; not sure of the flight number.

FRA-EWR (previously tagged to IAH) has been CO51 for a LONG time. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case in 1993 as well.

Very cool, I didn't think I had ever flown on a CO 747.

IAH-MAD that would be a fun flight.

Is there a web site you are looking this info up on? for me the whole early 90's are pretty much a haze at this point (I was doing my best to keep the beer makers stock prices up while working for Uncle Sam). :D

Well, there are a few websites that have historical flight schedules, like the one linked above by 2wheels.

A couple of years ago, I got a dump of all my Mileage Plus activity from United, which goes back to 1994. It doesn't list aircraft types, but I am not too concerned about it as I am not obsessed with "collecting" aircraft types. That said, some flights are more special than others.

Got to say...I am surprised someone needs/keeps track of this info, even more...or maybe its less...surprised that there is a website that tracks it all.

It was indeed CO51. As I was going through some old files today, I found my old ticket, boarding passes and even the luggage tag receipts, all in a nice old BP holder. Now I even know what seat I was in :)
