Be careful with your complaints. The FA might decide no soup for you!

But seriously, I think things are just going to be screwed up for the next couple weeks. Hopefully a lot of these issues will be over soon.

Maybe something on their system is trying to read plat as the new premier plat, behind the new premier 1k?

Interesting. Flew this morning. CO Plat (UA 1K) in Y and received Group 1.

I normally don't eat the soup on most flights, I'm no fan of cheddar-based soups or chowders. And the dear respected Supreme Leader Jeff Smisek knows I have undying loyalty to the Golden Globe.

But yeah, I expect all sorts of chicken-ups over the next few weeks.

I've had this issue recently more than once very easy fix,
Go back and reprint BPs on checkin web site or kiosk or ask agent to reprint.

After a reprint should say BG 1

Seems changing your seat after doing this also regens a BG 2, but again just reprint.

Noticed mobile BPs don't have ths issue.

Yeah, that's F'd up. Might be an idea for everyone who doesn't carry their credentials in their wallet to do so for the next few weeks.

Not sure that showing the card would matter too much; it doesn't say "Boarding Group 1" on it.

And, FWIW, at the time that BP was issued they had already called all zones so I'm not so sure it matters.

Clever new business logic that dynamically determines what the next *available* boarding group is once boarding has started? ;)

I see. If I received a BP w/ boarding zone 7, I would attempt to board with zone 1 and present my credential to the agent to demonstrate eligibility. They could still deny me, but if I've got a rollaboard to stow, I'd rather board with zone 1.
