Club Carlson status match request

    Hi. I have been trying to send in a status match request to club carlson. Several email attempts did not work as "screen shots" could not be read on their end. I have tried faxing--first I realized the contact information was in Europe and called for a US number, and now am having a hard time getting through. Does anyone who has successfully done a status match with them, have some suggestions for contact information?

    mine was pretty simple. i emailed them a screenshot of my priority club platinum membership and they matched me to gold. took less than a week.

    They matched my spg gold to silver. In hind sight it looks like I should have sent over a screen shot priority club plat to get gold :( mine took less then a week too

    I first sent a pdf of my HHonors account page (Gold status). After a few days, they replied saying the attachment was too large for them to open it and provided a fax number to send it. So I did that and a few days later found that my account was upgraded to Gold.

    email would be much faster, and free. i'm sure there's some screenshot software you can find online

    I also had trouble with them not responding for a week and then saying that they could not read the screenshots, but it has finally worked. They could read Hilton more easily than Hyatt, for what it's worth.

    I emailed three times, faxed twice, and finally they gave me silver status for my Hilton Gold. Not great customer service, but I understand they're not used to providing great customer service!

    Seems a bit inconsistent: I got CC Gold for HHonors Gold. I have Hyatt Diamond, too, but figured HHonors might look better as I actually have more Hilton stays so far this year.

    I sent them a screenshot of my Accor Platinum page. It took them about a week to reply and they also said I needed to resize my attachment. Once I sent them a smaller file (~45kb), they had it approved in a day or two.

    Hmmm, interesting. I wonder when my matched Gold status expires. There doesn't seem to be a way to see that online.

    No. I forgot to mention in my post that I faxed in my request and didn't (to the best of my recollection) receive an email from them confirming the status match, but instead just saw it online.

    Checking now, I did receive eventually a "You have reached Gold status" email, but it was an automated message and did't have any expiration information.

    I suppose it's reasonable to assume that any Gold status acquired this year would be good this year and next, though?

    I also received a match to Gold Status based on screen shots I sent them showing my Accor and Hyatt Platinum Status. There was no problem with the screen shots (which I had already cut down to show only the relevant portion of the screen).

    In my case, it was almost two weeks between the request and receiving my response. Then, two days later, I received an automated "you've just reached Gold Status" message.

    The original email I received also said status was good until Feb 2014.

    I didn't fax, I was on the phone with an agent talking about programs & I mentioned that I stayed at a lot of hotels, she asked if I'd like a status match & we talked about what = what. Basically my Hyatt Diamond got CC gold. She asked me to email her a screen shot of my Hyatt account & that is how my status match happened.

    I sent two emails, once from a thread and the other through the online service form.

    Not a single response so far.

    i went straight to the level i was requesting :)

    they requested my credentials (PC Plat in this case) for match to Gold (highest they match to).

    I sent April 15 and received an email April 21 with my status match

    I just put the card i wanted to match on the table, took a pic with my iphone and sent it via email, no problem.

    I got a gold status match through Hilton Diamond (made a phone call and emailed the rep immediately) On my first stay with the Radisson in Richmond, BC , I got upgraded to an Executive Suite apartment. I also received a bowl of candy with a nice letter. ( I only made the reservation 2 hours before). Very impressed with this Radisson! Great service and facilities!
