We spent ten days in Russia and 6 of them were at Club Carlson hotels. The Radisson Royal in St. Petersburg was a fantastic hotel in as good a location as you can get. The service was perfect and they were kind enough to upgrade us to a junior suite even on a points stay. The Radisson Royal is Moscow was beyond belief. The hotel is absolutely magnificent. One of the nicest I have ever stayed at. We were upgraded to a suite on our points award stay and the decor was as good as it gets. The buffet breakfast was amazing. The hotel has unbelievable shopping including the only Rolls Royce dealership in Russia. Every last detail in the hotel is impeccable and I can't find enough good things to say about the hotel. The only negative is the location is not as central as some hotels, but it is worth the extra distance for the benefit of staying there.

Awesome. A lot of hotels in centers of cities are unfortunately soviet era... for the new built ones you have to go slightly out from center.
    Glad you enjoyed your stay.

We stayed 1 night at the Crown Plazza St. Petersburg airport and it was far and above anything else same class you are used to in the states.

Staying in St Pete's in September. Now looking MORE forward to staying at Radisson. It'll be a points stay as well.
