    From Aeroplan web site:

As part of the overall changes to the Aeroplan Program, the following ClassicFlight Business and First Class mileage levels will be increasing as of January 1, 2014.

    BETTER ONE-WAY CLASSICFLIGHT REWARDS

Today, one-way ClassicFlight rewards require 67% of the miles needed for a roundtrip flight reward. As of January 1, 2014, a one-way trip will require exactly half the number of miles you need to redeem for a roundtrip ClassicFlight reward.

So this represents a hike of almost 60% in two years for these premium awards.

While nice to see one-ways will be half the return (which has been the case with all the other STAR programs) will this now apply to awards on other STAR carriers? At present, one-ways appear to be limited to AC flights.

Right now 67% miles of a round trip applies for all Star Alliance members, so obviously it will work the same in future.

So... OWs to Europe are getting more accessible. I'd call OWs to Asia and Australia a wash. The second devaluation on these routes in so many months is ridiculous, and I can only hope for a pricing error like with the last devaluation.

RTs on AC starting in Europe seem to get cheaper and cheaper compared to RTs starting in NA. That could work together.
