So my statement closed a couple of weeks ago and the points posted but not the 2 free night certificates. I called HHonors and they said it can take 4-6 weeks to email me the certificates but she didn't seem sure. Anyone have any hard data?

Are you sure these certs are actually coming from HH as opposed to Citibank?? Since they are based on spend as opposed to points earned by hotel activity etc logic would tell me that they most likely come from the latter source.

As I posted in another thread HH has for some now have dispensed with paper certs and redeemed awards or earned nights by stay certs are posted as e-certs on hilton.com but these are a result of HH activity which quite obviously is not the case here.

I'm not sure. The lady from HHonors told me it'll take a few weeks but I don't know if she was making that up.

As I stated in the other thread, the official line is 6-8 weeks, from the website www.hiltonreserve.com. It's also on the landing/application page for multiple links.

    2. Please allow 6-8 weeks after purchase requirements have been met to receive your certificate.

Would really appreciate it if someone would scan copies of their certs (redacting any certificate numbers or other personal information, of course!)

    Gary,

Here is a scan of the cert I received via email. Two certs received, each for one night.

Finally, I got my certificates after 3 months after I made the spent. Also got my Diamond status 1 month after my spending $40,000.

Question, can I use a Citi Reserve cert to book a room for my parents? I wont be traveling with them. Or will I need to be traveling to redeem the cert? Thanks!
