    I was surprised that a "real tourist" ended up as a refugee in the first place, of course that they needed 12 days to find out via a translator the Chinese tourist found in a local restaurant that he's indeed a tourist and not a refugee seems incomprehensible, nearly unreal.

    I feel sorry for the Chinese guy, getting robbed first on holiday and ending up in a refugee camp...sounds like in this case at least that reality is indeed sometimes stranger than fiction.

    Most Chinese has it better in China, many are returning.

    Americans are not as well off as they use to be,

    Wages and living conditions in the USA are deteriorating....

    So they tell me...

    The article talks about someone being detained in Germany. What does the article have to do with Americans and living conditions there?
