Awesome! I hope that more bosses would act like this, good karma to him. :)

    Amazing. Pretty gutsy too.
If I were to do it, I would probably have it in smaller groups / teams / departments
Easier logistically, and also better chance of team bonding.
Host country will not get overwhelmed.. and the potential of the group making a "mess" and getting negative feedbacks would be reduced.
Not that they made a mess.

I was in China last week,at APEC, the country is growing, use to be many bicycles over there, now the highways are filled with nice cars, and you do not see Junkers.

I often think everyone should not believe all that we read in the press, and if China every quits buying American goods, America will be in trouble,

Maybe that is why China loans America money, just to give Chinese some imported goods to purchase,

We shouldn't forget that this particular large group landed a spot in the Guiness Book of World Records too for creating the largest "living street sign" in Nice. :)

He's done something not many would do, that's awesome IMHO and yes, people/his employees will see their boss now in a whole different light, a positive one. :)

Yes, China has changed in a dramatic fashion over the past decades and yes, growth in China is good, not only in terms of what they earn or how the change their society in ways they/we couldn't even imagine let's say 20 years ago, they're also keeping other economies afloat with their "hordes" of consumers, which overall is a good thing for the world economy, plus Chinese culture is diverse too and it does grow in many different ways, that's a good thing too IMHO. :)

Maybe instead of a mass trip to France, the employees would have preferred getting bonus money to spend as they wish.

I believe that the employees were very happy to go to France in style for free. He's a good boss IMHO, not many would do this, sometimes "cash" isn't the right gesture IMHO, travel is more memorable and stays with the employees forever, as with cash, when it's gone it's gone.

Hey, on top of tax breaks, it's such a good publicity. I spent 20 minutes looking up his name and companies he runs !
