On the other hand, it's good for American workers to find good jobs abroad, and I am happy to see that the Chinese carriers are looking for experienced pilots (do they have "window-paper-over" pilots, too?)

The pay seems to be really good. I hope those who get cut or are unemployed consider going to China for this opportunity. Yes it's unfortunate that they can't stay here but gotta do what you gotta do...

That makes me wanna book a flight with them right now! That sounds like something that they would have done on the "Airplane" movie.

Good for China and good for the pilots.

If it were American airlines hiring Chinese pilots, there would be an outcry over outsourced / offshore labor.

This will make for a nice bump to the Chinese American population.... and some very happy divorce lawyers.

I see a good number of US pilots coming back with their own Xiaojie...
