Seems like everyone but ANA is announcing their discount fares at the moment...

are they slow off the blocks or just not going to bother?!?

Yeah, I saw the JAL email... looks great, and I am almost tempted to abandon my ANA quest and just rack up some FOPs instead :)

Hope to see some good runnable fares (although actually there are some really cheap fares around Sendai-Nagoya-Incheon return in July for 40,000 yen on ANA for example).

Go abandon your SFC quest :) JAL welcomes you with open arms

But isn't it cheaper to fly on other *A carriers for your SFC quest? I know that's certain MPer from Niseko is doing [IMG]

I got the same email today and thought it's all on but I realised the fares are only valid until the end of April. Have to see what happens after that.

Are you just wanting the cheap of cheap fares to get SFC or do you actually want to see the world?

I need to go to London for the weekend in July, preferably with a stopover in Munich. And if it gets me muchos PPs, so much the better :)

They best way to thanks is to use the Like button :p That can save you a post :)

Hopefully you can book your ticket now cuz fuel price is going up and they probably will increase the surcharge in the next revision.

If you do ICN-SIN-MUC open jaw LHR-SIN-ICN you'll get 20k PP.... cost is under 13man...plus repositioning ticket to ICN :p

EDIT: This will not work anymore as cheapest (SQ raised prices on the tickets by 25000yen)!

Nope. Sadly my dreams have been crushed, and there is no travel in my immediate future. There is only stupid amounts of teaching...

That doesn`t sound good unless you love teaching! I hope things get better and you can achieve your dream soon.

There's always next year. But for the time being, if you have to travel, try to fly on JAL so you can use your upgrade points before they expire ;)

Is this make-up class time to compensate for the period people left Sendai after the earthquake?

Is there any hope of asking for an extension due to the quake and its aftermath?

No, it's because we don't have any teachers to help with our school (the guy that was supposed to be coming found a better job about a day before he was due to start)

So I'll be doing 80 hour weeks for the forseeable future...
