Applied for United, When booking a trip to IST, CSR said I would get the 30k,
Received card from Chase today, NO MILES..
GOOD NEWS, I have to wait 2 years, to get the new card bonus.
Rules may change, but I hope this helps someone.

Was that because you had the card previously? If so, how long ago?

Must have been less than 2 years,

According to their post card we need to wait 2 years before reapplying, and getting the bonus.

I will go back and look at my payments and wait 2 years,

My wife and I rotate cards like South West, for the.companion pass.

Many of the hotel cards are worth the renewal fee.

I like to find a loop hole...

I would call them and cancel unless they give you something. Just flat out and be willing to do so.

Oh and I assume that 2 years means since you've had the card versus when you last applied for one?

After the card came in the mail the card was canceled,

I would think the 2 years would start when you cancel the card.

Chase has lots of cards, so it should never be a problem finding a perk.

This has been a great year for the miles game, even though points are not worth what they use to be, but they are easier to get....
