This will be held at HND on March 8 2015. You can buy collectibles and used airline goods at reasonable prices. The plane seats, food carts, and 747 models are lottery items and you cannot resell it. Other items include the old F PJ, old JAL utensils, old JAL playing cards, etc

SDJ, you need that 1/50 747 model and teach the kids words like fuselage, tail, aileron, spoiler, etc

Meh, I'm not big on physical possessions after 2011. Funny how leaving everything behind and seeing how it isn't really a big deal does that to you ;)

yes that's why I don't store my collectibles here in LA if possible. Can't believe it has been so long. It almost feel like yesterday when we were chatting here and the earthquake happened

You know it is really interesting, really if you look deep at news etc. the whole earthquake/tsunami and recent discussion of it has really taken a back seat to other news. Last night there was a story on NHK about the size of land needed for use of dumping the toxic/radioactive soil and other debris. They showed a graphic about how much land has been put aside and how much land was needed. Really unfathomable.....And O-Chans working for the nuclear lobby want to restart all the reactors (too bad the price of oil and gas has put a wrench in their plans).

When I was a kid, we had some airplane seats like these in our basement play area. They were lots of fun, even though I hadn't flown yet. I think they were from TWA.

I don't have any use for them now, of course.

Are any of the items available online, or do you have to go to HND in person? (I can't read.)

I don't plan on going, sorry. What kind of stuff were you interested in? I have a few things around the house...

I have the PJs, playing cards, small model planes, stickers, postcards, Air Kumamon stuff, etc. But I'm keeping the salt and pepper shakers from business class.
