Well apparently US Bank decided to issue me the Platinum card vs. the Premier card.

I know USB is a bit of an anomaly when it comes to credit cards, but has anyone had much luck getting their products switched?

I think photog72 replied to the wrong form, not you.

I've yet to read of someone getting a second Carlson card or switching their existing card, but I think it should be something people want to read real information about. (I would.)

Assuming you have a legitimate reason to change I’d call them up and ask for their advice on how to make the change. Assuming none is forthcoming then apply for the second card and if/when it is rejected call up the number on the rejection and plead your case with your legitimate reason.

    Sounds good,

i'll be pleading that case in the next couple of days when I call to activate the plat card.

    I'll post the results here.

No luck pleading my case. As a 10+ year US Bank customer I was told that my only chance was opening the Plat and hoping for a product change down the road.
