Ok, there have been some changes to the food offerings in the club.

    Removal
    RCC
The carrots, celery, and tomatoes have been removed
The cheese cubes have been removed
The PF cookies have been removed

    PC
The chips, and pretzel sticks have been removed
The cheese spread has been removed.

    Added
    RCC
    Walkers cookies have been added
    packaged cheese has been added
packaged carrots and ranch has been added
    packages crackers

    PC
The UA trough has been added
Packaged carrots and ranch has been added.

    Ok,
What needs to be changed...the packaged carrots need to go, please bring back the UA veg and cheese tray. Please bring back the PF crackers as well in addition to the Walker's sticks, or at least add a different variety of walkers, one has chocolate chips.

Anyone have experience with the breakfast offerings?

Experienced the packaged carrots and ranch dip for the first time last week at the LAX RCC. Might be beneficial for those whole like to raid the RCC for on-board (or at home!?) snacking, but I hated the extra packaging waste it created.

They also had the packaged cheese and crackers, but those aren't entirely new. The SFO (int'l) has had them for years, AFAIK.

It might be personal for me, I detest whole carrots. i would rather eat celery or tomatoes than carrots.

I'm actually of two minds on these changes. While the quality of the offerings technically is going down, everything being pre-packaged as far as vegies and cheese is actually a lot more sanitary (since there is no risk of someone just going in and grabbing them, or sneezing over the plate)

    Good summary overall.

I was recently at the LAS PC and noticed what I think was a more extensive breakfast spread than in the past, including several bagel flavors and bread for toasting. They also have the RCC cereal choices including granola. Also yogurt.

That said, I'm not a frequent PC visitor, so my recollections may be a bit off. I do think this is more choices then I remember.

Another change I noticed was the addition of Shiner Bock in the IAH RCC. I like the concept of a more local brew as a free choice, and anything but Bud Light as the only free option in RCC's will change soon, I hope.

If anyone from UA/CO is reading this, know that the packaged chips, cheese spread and fresh tomatoes will be missed.

Nor do I...no more Fritos! Guess I'll have to munch on healthy mini-carrots...local brews will be nice though (as long as the local brew at EWR is not considered to be Bud!

Please add more real food...I guess that's more wishful thinking than anything else.

I think UA/CO should adds pots of chicken noodle soup to each Club.

Chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side...

Heck, even small (and very inexpensive) instant ramen, which is available as a snack on trans-pac F/C, would be a decent addition. Really dislike removing the tomatoes and celery, as well as vanishing Pepperidge Farms, although the reason for the latter vanishing was possibly the end of a concession from the manufacturer.

I seem to remember seeing and trying them at the SFO RCC (Intl) as recently as March of this year.

Was just at the ORD RCC (C concourse) Monday morning and loved the new toaster! It toasted my bagels much better and faster than the previous version!

Havent been in the morning lately. I can tell you that the "local brew" at ORD is Goose Island Honker's Ale and at IAD is Sam Adams.

I like the return of the plastic wrapped tillamok cheese and the bagels, carrots are a wash because half the time the "fresh" carrots were white streaked indicating they were past their sell by date. No celery is bad.Don't care about the cherry tomatos

I was in the Internation RCC at SFO this morning/afternoon. I did see bagels as I walked by but I didn't really pay too much attention to the breakfast spread. The afternoon choices were the 3 cylinders of mixed dry stuff (it's been around forever) and prepackaged carrots/dressing. No cookies in sight, unfortunately because I am a huge fan of the Walker Shortbread cookies. And the soft drink dispenser was broken., which meant I had to settle for a Bloody Mary. :)
