Now with the new structure does this status still exist?
Wasn't/isn't this a US status tier, not UA/CO?
Actually no CO had a Chairmans Circle which was an unpublished group similar to UA's Global Services except the benefits were not published anywhere but some of CO's best clientele would find themselves in the Chairmans Circle without knowing it themselves... Some reported benefits were 6 days Upgrades and better IRROPs handling as well as a dedicated reservations/concierge agent.
As the saying goes, "if you have to ask about it, your not in the program."
Not only that, rumor has it that the number of customers in Chairman's Circle was in the "hundreds", so it is far more exclusive than UA's GS program... I guess this program still exists and it is usually for the major corporate big wigs who has the final say in whether which airline will be the primary program for their company.
So, if that is the case, we don't really have to worry about them since they all probably fly in paid F/C anyways.
