Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Bangkok

  1. Another March 17 is upon us here in the City of Angels, and it’s time to lift a glass and toast St. Patrick. Bangkok, of course, has no shortage of pubs, particularly Irish pubs, but the city does, unfortunately, have a shortage of Irish beer!
It could turn out to be more of a lift a shot glass for St Paddy’s Day this year in Bangkok, as Guinness ran out across the city already last month. I haven’t found any Kilkenny either, for that matter. A couple of pubs have reported being promised some Guinness by next Thursday, but promises of that nature in Thailand aren’t exactly safe bets.
Well, mai pen rai, I say! Head on out for some Irish stew and have a spot of Jameson whiskey. If we have to add some green to a Singha, so be it. Happy St. Paddy’s Day, Bangkok!
