CitiGold customers used to get a credit card fee waiver. No muss, no fuss, no phone calls. The annual fee was waived. Was on the phone with them today on another matter and just found out that as of 10/16/11, CitiGold will no longer offer fee waivers. Bummer! Of course, you can still call up and possibly get the annual fee reversed, waived, etc. but it's not automatic.

Annual fee waiver used to be automatic on Citi AAdvantage VISA, but not Citi AAdvantage MasterCard CCs.

A phone representative today indicated that Citigold still waives annual fees for ALL Citibank credit cards. Can anyone confirm? If so, might be time to sign up for the Citi Executive AA card with lounge access, which normally carries a $450 fee.

Following up -- I've asked numerous times to get the Executive card waived and they've never done it. I've been a Citigold customer for more than a decade.
