I'm flying VX to JFK in November and I'm looking to credit the miles elsewhere. I'm disheartened to learn that on VS/VA I would only get 50% of miles flown in coach -- so I'm looking at the other "partners" listed on the site. They list Cathay, Emirates, Qatar, Singapore, South African, El Al and Qantas, all partners I would prefer over VX to earn on. But I can't seem to find if I get 100% of miles flown on any. Anyone have any knowledge on this? I've searched Asia Miles and Marco Polo for Cathay earning and can't find anything. Same for Emirates Skywards Miles, Qatar Airways, Singapore, South African, El Al and Qantas. What am I missing???

Where are they listed as VX partners? I only see this on their partner page

So they're just codeshare partners or some such other thing with no reciprocal Frequent Flyer status? How terribly disappointing. The value of the Virgin America/Southwest-style earnings and redemptions just aren't worth my time...
    Thanks for pointing it out.
