Cathay Pacific flight attendants say the company’s popular Marco Polo club frequent flyer plan and too-tight uniforms are contributing to rising instances of sexual harassment on board. Female flight attendants are harassed about once every ten flights, a flight attendant union representative estimated, thanks in part to an air of entitlement among members of the airline’s Marco Polo Club, who pay $50 to join.

“Some of the Marco Polo Club [frequent flier] members think they can do things to us because they are privileged, and we somehow allow it,” Flight Attendants Union secretary Michelle Choi told the South China Morning Post. Uniforms with tight skirts and short blouses, which flight attendants have repeatedly complained about, are also contributing to the problem, she said.

We know this isn't an issue with most US-based airlines, where the average age of the female FA's is, well, you get my point.

To blame the FF program for this is ridiculous. Also, the uniforms from the picture in the first post don't seem terribly revealing, IMO. Not that either of those factors excuse sexual harassment, of course, but to blame it on those factors makes no sense.

I would submit that if CX FFers think harassing FAs is a perk, that the victimized FAs getting to punch the harassers in the face (should they desire) would be a good perk for them to have. :D

Your post is interesting when juxtaposed with this quote from the article:

sad there is even a discussion on this. evidently this has some impact on the male FA's too. Just give them slacks, get on with it. OZ crew got on CNN and they finally got slacks. NH crew still dont get anything. and they are ll think the new uniforms are gross. i say inflight just throw in a higher mixture of male counterparts and good to go.

Perhaps the female commander - even NH has at least one of them - will land her 772 at the nearest airport and have LE board and deal with these offenders.... making an un-Asian public pronouncement about the reasons for the unscheduled landing and advising all pax that each incidence of such harrassment would be taken similarly seriously.... You can bet that CX MP members or others would soon conform to more reasonable standards of behavior.
