Hello Folks, I got the (Capital One Venture Card) COVC a few years ago with the hope of harvesting points for a grand trip to Asia in 2019. To date, that has resulted in a credit of less $200 on any trip/ 33000k miles. Why? I have been using primarily my Chase Sapphire (CS) card which I am sure has a greater credit that I could use. My question: I have an upcoming 2018 trip to Europe (via a budget non American airlines) where I could do one of the following: a) use the COVC, get the credit and close the $60/annually fee card. pros - it's a credit and gets rid of the card that I don't use at all. cons - it doesn't have any "good" travel insurance vs CS card. b) use the CS card for the European trip because it has better travel insurance. Keep the COVC for the possible Asia trip. c) Is there another option that I don't know of. Please help me decipher the best option.
