Can Boeing offer a fast fix for 787?Sounds like it.
According to the piece, they already have offered a fix, which is rather fast! Note, however, that this is not the same as saying that their proposed fix will pass testing and certification. Nevertheless, that they are now just waiting for a nod from the FAA to start the latter process and sounding quite upbeat about it is a great development, me thinks...then again, my glass is almost always half full too.:D

'Course Conner also said the B787 batteries "are not used in flight". He may no know there are emergency procedures that require them, or that they are important in starting the APU and a few things like that.
