Tried to find this on the new and old award charts, but couldn't find an answer.

Can I fly to an Asian city via Europe. For example: ORD-FRA-SIN-LHR-ORD rather than ORD-NRT-SIN?

Yes, you certainly can and it will come at a small premium over flying it TPAC. I am doing ORD-FRA-ICN-BKK-DPS-SIN-BKK-FRA-ORD in F for 145,000.

If you transfer your miles to CO there shouldn't be a mileage premium for going over the Atlantic.

Indeed, if you do it via CO you get both a lower price and MUCH better routing flexibility as the MPM rules do not come into effect.
