OK, I admit it, I am a geek who over packs his techno toys. But with those toys comes all sorts of cables and adapters.

Anyone have a good recommendation for how to best pack / organize cables and such?

My best to date is the Kangaroom 2-sided Cord Pouch. But there are a few areas its needs to improving on:
    • Zipper goes around so the top fully opens
    • Velcro along entire walls for more freedom of movement of the dividers
    • Stronger dividers to keep things in place
    Anyone have a better solution's?

I just pack Griffin USB mini cables!

  3. Take a look at the "grid it" from levenger.com.

The unique design of this innovative tool valet and electronics organizer allows you to keep track of all your essential gear. The crisscrossed elastic bands on the Grid-It tool organizer and valet offer endless configurations.

That is a pretty neat device. Amazon has it here with some better pictures of how people use it http://www.amazon.com/Cocoon-CPG10BK-GRID-Organizer-Black/dp/B002HU27UW

That's pretty much what I do as well, but add SQ, TG, OZ F/C bags to the mix.

My old shaving kit bag has done great duty for carrying cables.

Another vote for the UA amenity bag -- works fine, price is right.

The nice thing about the current incarnation of UA C amenity bags is that you can see through the mesh what's inside. So when I have two or three with different items, I don't have to guess.
