The cheap flights specialist easyJet has introduced a cabin baggage guarantee to ensure that customers with small bags can definitely carry them onboard.

With the airline focusing on maintaining its industry-leading load factors by maximising the amount of passengers it carries on each flight, it is bringing in the new guarantee to make the most of the limited baggage space created as a result.

From 2 July, passengers who bring a bag no bigger than 50x40x20cm including its handles and wheels can rest assured they will be able to carry it onboard. However, those who bring bags up to maximum size of 56x45x25cm may be forced to check them in.
