If you've heard of a story wilder than this one, then I salute you... http://www.wsmv.com/story/17368824/...r-committing-more-than-10-felonies-in-9-hours A man by the name of William Todd arrived in Nashville in a Greyhound bus and had a 9 hour layover. He quickly made good use of this time however... He apparently broke into The Slaughterhouse and stole a taser, revolver and a shotgun, shot the place up, stole a t-shirt and set the business on fire. He then ran into four people leaving a local bar and held them up at gunpoint, tased one, pistol-whipped another and ran off with their cash and credit cards. He then carjacked a cab at gunpoint and went to Walmart (?) to buy a bunch of stuff with the stolen cards, before breaking into a law office, ransacking the place and defecated on a desk, smearing feces on some of the law degrees framed on the wall. At the Hotel Indigo he knocked on several hotel room doors pretending to be a female housekeeper, stole $600 from a Canadian couple that actually opened the door and then attempted to take off once again in the stolen cab. And I say attempted because he crashed it into a parking garage. So he stole another one, this one at knife-point (I guess he wanted some variety). He was eventually found hiding in a water cooling vat on top of Opryland. Now that's a layover.
