|| Burger King Employee Stands on Lettuce: Busted by Internet ||
Ouch! But I recall reading somewhere, that even normally handled fast food lettuce had more germs on it than a raw beef patty. Plus it's got little nutritional value.
Go spinach and arugula!
Are gourmet burger better handled?
Note to self.....only eat burgers cooked on my BBQ and in my presence.
Kudos to the people who tracked this idjit down but hopefully they will also get rid of the idjit #2 who took the photo!
All restaurants are required to follow the same food handling procedures. Many states also require inspection reports to be publicly available. I don't know if "gourmet" burger even has a definition. Personally I would at least expect one to contain no pink slime, and the meat to come from grass fed and humanely raised animals.
.......let's only hope the " burger pang " does not come during a long-haul flight....!!
Well observed, could have been a tripod too!
That's the dream we all have for our food, but the reality stands in-between.....
Probably would not notice the taste difference at a burger king anyway.
I wonder what they did to the bacon sundaes!
Ha! Ha! Don't remember us!
Nice...pretty sad. It seems they wanted in on camera...guess losing a job was not a big deal to them.
At least it was not needles or glass shards (a la DL) in the food...
