I assume that despite the mention of Marriott, this hotel does not participate in MR.

All Bulgari Hotels are managed by Ritz-Carlton and indeed they do NOT participate in the Marriott Rewards nor the Ritz-Carlton Rewards program. Sad but true.

    Il Bar and Il Ristorante?

This is the best the naming consultants could come up with?

    Wow.

Knightsbridge too has to be one of the most boring locations to be in London unless you want to race your foreign plated Ferrari or Bugatti up and down the street and around the block.

Agreed. I expected Bulgari, given they are quite creative in other areas such as jewellery, could come up with a name just a touch more interesting.

The names keep it real and do not promise something over the top, it's a good thing IMHO, many names miss-represent for what they really stand for.

Regarding Knightsbridge, it's London, it's brash, it's luxurious, it's safe and can be elegant at the same time, so it's OK to love it too, as this fabulous city itself!:)

They need the "creation" as in creative, that what they do, understatement in this case works just fine, despite the prices can be described as "overstated" at least for the masses.

Not completely boring however. There's always Harrod's! :)

Enjoy, it's a great store, more modern, different brands / offerings against Harrods. Well worth a visit.

But have the other areas in London such a brand new hotel on offer? IMHO, there will always be the tube and Knightsbridge roars too!:)

I really like the Town Hall in the elegant area of Bethnal Green/Hackney.
Great 1 BR suites, a 2 star Michelin restaurant, excellent health club, very good staff, outstanding conceirge, and close to all transport connections. Broadway Market is also close by which is wonderful on the weekend, and of course my favorite- London Fields nearby.

  17. Hello, I went with a Virtuoso to the Bulgari and the pastries and coffees were the only things included in the rate. Does anyone know why????
