    Air passengers are paying sky-high rates of up to £1 per minute to call customer helplines in the latest example of hidden charges from budget airlines.

    Holidaymakers are being ripped off when they ring for help by being forced to phone premium-rate telephone numbers, said Which? Travel.
    Airlines and even travel association Abta are using 090 numbers, with Ryanair the worst offender, charging £1 a minute for calls to its 'priority assistance line'.

    Reason #911 to avoid LCCs or at least the worst such airlines.

    Budget airlines are IMHO no budet airlines at all.....they should be known as " Budget Busting Airlines "........and should come with an official warning sign attached!
