Budget - airline miles for rental?

    Does Budget give miles on airlines...? I had to rent an SUV for one day and did not remember to give them my airline mileage info.... do they even do this..?

    They don't disagree, they're simply offering you two different things. The primary company has incentive, if you're already at their site, to offer you less. A referring company, such as an airline, has incentive to offer you more since they'll get a referral payment/bonus from the primary company. The bigger the referring company, the more clout they'll have with a car rental company. I went to southwest.com and got a fantastic rate and 1200 miles for a 3 day rental, better than US Airways or Budget advertised.
