    There are many products where in one native country, the brand of a product makes sense, and may have been around for many years.

    However these products may not translate well when in other countries.

    I'll start:

    Le Goût cream base soup

    What are some other brand name products that don't translate very well? [pics encouraged]

    The was the famous case of the Chevy Nova, which didn't go over well in Spanish speaking countries.

    The famous Mitsubishi Pajero, which in spanish seems to be rather unfortunate name for a car.

    Or the Gazprom-Nigerian joint venture commodities company they called Nigaz.
