Indeed, Nestle is the number one packaged water producer/seller in the US and of course Nestle is also the largest food producer in the world. Nestle Water is a real "profit" machine and this incl. their exploitations in California, around the world Nestle introduced their "generic" water brands in many markets around the world and is already "their" leader in the water markets they enter/entered. Here's a list from A-to-Z of their water brands they own/produce/market around the world, one plastic bottle at the time, many a profit of course for the same Nestle source/the owner HQ in Switzerland:

Despite all the controversies surrounding water around the world, the world wants/needs more bottled water, it's all about getting nourished/refreshed in a healthy way on a daily basis. While costs are high, bottled water has also some benefits too. Some balance is needed, as always, I guess.

I'm doing a lot of bottled water from the club stores this year, particularly sparkling flavored water, trying to wean myself off diet soft drinks. Seems to be working so far.
