It seems like Bose have a new QuietComfort model on the way. The model should be called QC25 and lookes like this:

According to Bose they will not confirm it as it is stated on Bonusfeber that have contacted Bose in DK:

    Anyone who knows more?

Which will likely make using it in flight a violating of airline rules. Would guess they may have a "backup" cable for that?

Is it though? Most planes have wifi and I see a few people w/BT headsets on... no FA ever seemed to yell at people. (maybe they just didn't notice that there wasn't a cord ... )

Those look huge. Anyways, I think I will be happy sticking with my QC20i.

I am only going to buy these if the $99 upgrade deal comes back. I had the QC2 for years and they were complete (and excellent) workhorses. The QC15 was and still is awful for me, Had it replaced twice and the current set is still rattling.

I really like that they now also work without batteries, and that the case is smaller. Traveling light as I usually do, that's more important than one might think. Sound quality wise they are also slightly better - and of course, they look better. I went with the white version, as the blue cord matches my Surface Pro 3 type cover. I upgraded from QC15 to QC25, and IMO it was worth it.
