I have (so far) always booked all my tickets via Delta.com.

Wondering if there is any advantage booking via Delta.com vs travel sites.

Any pros booking on travel portals without compromising my mileage earning privileges?

I assuming I can still manage the flights (e.g. Seat selection) even if booked via the portals.

Also, can I still get the Medallion Desk to help etc in times of "trouble" or flight changes?

I personally always book airfare/hotel through thr travel provider directly, even if it's more expensive. If you buy a DL flight through Expedia, then you have to go through Expedia to resolve any problems. It adds one more layer of complexity, which I'd rather not deal with when I'm already going to be stressed (to some degree at least) because my travel plans have been disrupted.

I also use dl.com (or whatever travel provider) directly to avoid unpublished fares and not earning full MQM/RDM.

Okay. Thanks for the advice. I will stay with Delta.com then.
