I'm interested in flying to Jamaica summer 2012 and noticed that with Southwest's recent acquisition of AirTran, they now have international flights via Airtran segments:

One of them is ATL-MBJ. But I couldn't find a way to search award tickets for international.

Is it possible to book international segments with Southwest points?

Southwest and Airtran have not combined their operations yet so you can't do what you are trying to do. However, if you have the SW credit card, there are international awards available and these can be purchased on any airline. The problem with these is that you'll be receiving a much lower value on your SW points (around 1 cpp vs 1.6).
