Booking a hotel through ultimate rewards.

    A little guidance please. I have never booked a hotel through ultimate rewards. I am a little nervous because I am not sure of my plans. Has anybody had experience canceling a reservation several days before arrival? Will I get my $ and points back?

    Depends on the terms of the booking. I thought they were pretty clear on the cancellation windows the one time I looked there.

    This is why I am confused-- any help would be appreciated. Normally it tells you the time you can cancel by

    1. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES. Reservations are subject to the rules of each Supplier on your itinerary; some reservations cannot be cancelled, other reservations may incur program fees and/or Supplier fees to cancel or change. Refunds, if permitted, may require a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks for processing and are subject to the policies of the individual Supplier.

    Has anyone cancelled through ultimate rewards and it was a hilton property.

    ok I bit the bullet once you pay it tells you within three days is a fee
