I hope no one needs or plans to purchase tickets today.

Flights that are empty are pricing at about three times what they should and were several days ago, according to reports on FT.

Existing flights do not appear. For example, when I try to purchase LGA-MSP in late March, it only shows me one flight when there should be six or so nonstops. This one gives a cheap T fare. I get the same result when I search by schedule or ask for an A fare.

For another March domestic trip, it will not let me search by price and when I select flights from search by schedule, it says the fare class just sold out and refuses to show me any fare, including when I ask for FC. Again these are empty flights according to seat maps. Also, I cannot see upgrade eligible, even as a logged in past and future DM.

I noticed the same thing. It's hit or miss really some are normal priced others like BOS-DCA are at 1,000$ for mid-week flights!

    Wow...very crazy...!!!

I was able to price out several itineraries (ex-LHR) that I've been contemplating with no issue...

I was able to find Intl flights without problems as well. Must loading the system with new LGA flights and inventories.

That said, in looking at some of these LHR itineraries, dl.com only wants to give me 19-20 hour layovers on the way back...good thing I call the DM desk to book tix....

Wow! How intolerably bad DL.COM functionality is. The severity and frequency of these glitches are quite unique compared with OALs. KL.COM might suck but at least it works more consistently than DL.COM.

Just as well I don't intend on using it to book any revenue tix.

I just figured after hearing how many times "the award calendar (booking engine) isn't broke", that maybe they fixed the revenue booking engine.

I was really hoping this thread was going to say that you should book some tickets because they are inappropriately low. Although that kind of information is probably more hush hush in this forum.

Even the DM desk thinks the returns flights dl.com gives are crazy... ;) And you're right, MSPeconomist started talking about award tix and I was not clear. :D

No, I was not talking about award tickets. Sorry if my OP wasn't clear.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really tired of their website. It's another reason I moved to CO/UA in 2011 and may continue it for 2012.

Looking for SEA-LHR in two weeks and the only return flights I can get are 17+ hour layovers. WTF!!!! This will be another lost ticket for DL because they can't figure out what the he** they're doing in IT. Sure, I could call the DM desk and get them to book me a ticket but I'm not interested in wasting more time than I need to. CO.com is a few simple clicks and I have a ticket booked.

It seems to be getting worse today. If you can avoid doing so, do not attempt to change seat assignments just now.

Does DL think it's Y2K all over again?
