    The chaos in the nation’s air travel system worsened on Monday as a wave of frigid weather forced airlines to cancel thousands more flights, stranding passengers from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Los Angeles.

    I cannot believe that we are not trying to travel right now - finished 2013 in mid-Dec, and won't start 2014 until next week. Also, our early 2014 travels will be short-haul domestic (US), mainly to SFO and LAX.

    While we do try to schedule through airports, which are less prone to this sort of stuff - weather happens.

    I'd be PO'ed if my flight to sun and sand ("A passenger took a nap at Logan Airport in Boston after his flight to Puerto Rico was cancelled." ) was cancelled.
