Bogota to Get Two Four Seasons Hotels

These two properties in Bogota had been before their conversion to a Four Seasons hotel members of LHW. Had earlier wondered in fact what happened to them, now we know. Cheers.:)

The phrasing of the announcement is a bit funny: will the second hotel not welcome guests who are not VIPs?

Of course, despite the wording, I guess, they will all both welcome VIP's to their hotels.

Bogota is on the up and they've a lot of inward tourism and investment right now. Looks like that Bogota is safe / or safer, this might depend on the area, that's the same in any given city right now. Overall, over the years it was reported the the city is now "in" and attractive, that's pretty nice to learn actually.

I guess, it's better safe than sorry, but there has to be a balance. Of course, it's a big planet out there, lots of choices abound.

No, I mean will the second hotel--the one that welcomes VIPs--be non welcoming to nonVIPs? In other words, only VIPs need apply to stay here.

Thanks, oh yes, I guess they mean that every guest in both hotels will be treated as an VIP. At first I did read this differently. Cheers.

Was just in BOG. Look forward to going back. Is Bogota "suddenly" safe? One could argue they've been on the up and up - safety wise - for the better part of a decade. FS adding not one but two hotels....the new W....the outburst in tourism of late from international on-sites. All would suggest Bogota is safe.

I walked around the city for the better part of a week and didn't feel unsafe at any point. Just my .02 cents.
