although more and more hotels are opting out, this is still a great perk for those who can use them. based on the past few years, first round in 2011 should begin March 4th.

I really like the BOGO. They come in quite handy & really reduce costs. Cheers.

Ahhh....there you are Ms. Sharon... Was wondering when you would show up!

  4. I really like the EEOs but hate the holes in the redemption calendar. Seriously, would it kill MR to use full calendar quarters?

tip from insider, this year there will be no international hotels participating...

  6. Always bring two copies, since the BOGO paperwork is often misplaced between checkin and checkout.

I'm surprised Marriott doesn't do a better job promoting these...they're a great benefit for elites

I anticipate new EEO will be posted soon - they have already posted the buy one get one free entree, and the offers typically dovetail.

And, oh my, they REALLY could find a way to get the billing on these right. It can always get fixed, but given that these are ostensibly for elites (although others end up using them, I am certain), they should know not to leave a bad impression by so consistently getting the billing wrong.

YES. I always seem to need to book during the hole in the dates. I have no idea why these don't go year round

  10. I could truly understand if they wanted to block out summer / heavy travel months but that isn't the case. It's two months on, one month off - over and over again. Quit nickel and diming us - especially when you consider that the benefit is only available for folks staying 50+ nights a year with them.[IMG]

I have never had any problems using them, but I only used them in the Midwest and Texas.

The EEO and LNF benefits are a major reason I stay with Marriott. They're great perks for this traveler. The holes are frustrating.....but I'd rather have it some of the time rather than none of the time.
