Took the new Citi Aadvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard ($450) for a spin today on a 2 seg AA/USAir codeshare sequence thru Charlotte. There was "Preferred Access" printed on the BPs on both flights (I booked thru the AA app with said card) and I was invited to board right after Aadvantage Gold/OneWorld Ruby and before Zone 1. Pretty good boarding priority for simply holding a credit card, I must say.

    Albeit a $450 credit card.

As many have posted, credit card holders are the new lower-tier elites.

I only have the lower level card and so far I am 4 for 5 on Priority Access and Pre Check. Most of the time Priority Access and Zone 1 are called together

The $95 Citi card gives you Group 1 boarding.
