    Hi,
I'm slowly dipping my toes here...
I just received my boa alaskan air card in the mail.
Along with it was a second letter from boa stating the pull was from experian and the score was 818.
Fwiw...25 k miles for 1000 spend, and 99plus tax companion fare. I don"t know when that comes but sounds good to me!
I'm just curious....with an 818 score can I go a little faster with apps?

Yes and no. Score helps with rates and "worthiness" but it means less if banks see multiple recent apps. That usually trumps all. However, I am sure others here have their own experiences and opinions.

Oh gosh yes. Your credit score is thru the roof. Assuming you're not looking for a mortgage anytime soon. Sign up at creditkarma.com and monitor your score. Unless you are in some great hurry you can a card every month. Be mindful of spend requirements though. You don't want to have 3 or 4 spend deadline at once if you don't have the cash flow to support. Look at the Amex SPG card.

I would agree you can push it a little more with that score but do several in one day then wait 90 days. Also if your planning a mortgage or car purchase don't do it 90 prior.
You can judge your ability by applying for some tougher to approve cards like Barclay, US Bank, Amex.
Also I'm surprised you have to do the $1000 in spend on that card. I just got it a month ago with no spend required but a $79 fee. The companion pass will come shortly and it will show up in Awardwallet as a separate line item if you use that webservice.

    Thanks,
I've been at this for about a year,My first card was SPG, the annual fee came up recently,I made a newbie mistake by not calling and seeing about retention spend. Live and learn...a year went by fast though!

    Thanks,
I will get to checking out award wallet sometime in the near future...I don't think they do every ff program but it would help just to keep track of most stuff in one place.
I also have a Div miles card from Barclays as well as a Citi a/a amex.

    i am moving slowly though.

There are similar offers out there. Both come with 25k miles, non-waived annual fee and the $99 (plus taxes) companion fare. One comes with a $100 statement credit after $1k spend. Perhaps that is what the OP applied for.

AwardWallet doesn't do every FF program - due to (mostly) airlines preventing them from doing so. However, it does work with Alaska. :)

Why do people push Ceeditkarma do much, the score they show is not the FICO score, but what Karma THINKS your score should be and let me tell you they are WAY OFF!!!! It's just a waste of time..

amex sent me a FICO of 775 with my last approval.

creditkarma shows it at 773. i believe they show the experian's score.

    Hi,
For a time line update for this card,
I spent the 1000, the 25k miles and companion pass are already there, and while my first statement isn't available I can see a credit statement online for 100 bucks!
    All is well!

Yes YMMV, however, you must be the exception. Again Karma is showing me 689, FICO 734. I'm not the only one who has had this issue.
