I'm trying to book a flight LHR/MUC and have a choice of carriers... any strong preference between BMI/BA/LH?

LH if you ask me. The very vast majority of BMI flights are actually code share and flown by LH. Looks like fares are quite reasonable as well.

I would say LH and they are sure punctual. Unless you wanna try LHR T5, then BA.

You've actually got a lot more information than we have with which to narrow this down. The actual flight experience will be similar (and lasts less than two hours).

For starters, how will you be arriving at LHR? T5 is easier/faster to get to if you're travelling by car from most of Hampshire/Surrey/Sussex/Kent, for example, and if you fly in with BA you'll probably be landing at T5. in that case, choose BA. Otherwise, taking a LH flight from T1 might be easier.

Consider also that LH operates twice as many flights on this route as BA. You're more likely to find a flight to suit your plans and if flights are cancelled/delayed LH will have more backup options.

Finally, do you have oneworld or Star Alliance status and/or a preference for earning OW or *A miles?

    BMI doesn't fly LHR-MUC.
