    RSS feeds allow you to keep up with multiple websites more easily, by using special software that checks the website for you. Rather than you having to visit 100 websites individually, it can gather updates from them all and show them to you in one big list. I use the free Google Reader website to view my RSS feeds, that way it's available no matter what computer I'm on. Downside is that it requires internet access, so not helpful on long flights. But there are many offline readers as well, including Microsoft Outlook if you have that.
